Build the family record needed after a property owner dies

Assetly helps families collect the death and relationship evidence, understand the state-specific certificate route, and connect the issued certificate to succession and property mutation. The issuing authority, not Assetly, decides the application.

Certificate names and legal effect are not interchangeable

Andhra Pradesh commonly uses a Family Member Certificate for the deceased person’s family details. Telangana succession workflows refer to a Family Member Certificate alongside the death certificate and joint agreement of legal heirs. A court-issued succession certificate is a different document. Assetly first identifies the actual job instead of using these names interchangeably.

1. Establish the family record

Collect the death certificate and evidence of each claimed relationship.

2. Apply through the state route

Prepare the declaration, identity and supporting documents required by the revenue workflow.

3. Continue the property work

Use the issued document with the deed, PPB or revenue record for succession and mutation where applicable.

When a certificate alone is not enough

  • • The certificate records family or heir details for the administrative workflow; it does not resolve a contested inheritance by itself.
  • • A will, probate, registered family arrangement, court order or succession certificate may be relevant in some cases.
  • • Names, relationships and death details must match the supporting records. Corrections should be resolved explicitly.
  • • Assetly coordinates preparation and follow-up but cannot issue or guarantee the certificate.
